Book of Condolences Opened for the Public at the Embassy

The Embassy of the Republic of Namibia to the Federal Republic of Germany wishes to inform with utmost sadness and regret that the 3rd President of the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob, passed away on 4 February 2024.

The Embassy wishes to inform that a period of national mourning has been declared from today, 5 February 2024, until the date of the funeral, which will be announced soonest.

A Book of Condolences has been opened at the Chancery of the Republic of Namibia, Reichsstrasse 17, 14052 Berlin, on Monday, 5 February 2024.

The Book, which is open for the public to sign, will remain open throughout the mourning period from Tuesday, 06 February to Friday, during 10h00 to 12h00 and 14h00 to 16h00.
